C drive out of space urgent help please?

I have received a message saying very low memory. When checking C drive properties, (right click on C), it says used space of 15 GB, while on the other case, when I opened C and select all right click on them, and on properties it says a total of 8GB. What are the files that are next to 8GB to 15 GB?

There are probably hidden files that you didnt select when you clicked on them, to view them go into folder properties and click show hidden files. You should probably get a new hard drive, it is average to have 500gb of space now.
Reply:try running your system tools.......start, accessories,system tools...run disk clean-up and scan disk....in disk clean-up make sure all the boxes are check....you could also buy some extra ram {not too expensive} also not hard to install good luck
Reply:your harddrive is full because you have too much music and "movies" on it , ethier delete stuff you do not need or buy a new harddrive and put it in as secondary.
Reply:First thing would be to create a DVD disc back up of your files and upgrade your hard drive big time. You can get a 250gig HD for around 69 bucks.
