Try reading the manual or the 'read me' text
Reply:Ask the people that just "fixed" it to help ya
Reply:i can see by your question you are very anxious about this well dont worry i will try to help you sort this out

from what you have said,it looks like you have either a dual booted p.c or a windows disk still in the dvd drive

first do the following tasks

1)remove any dvd/cd roms from their drives

2)ensure your graphic card is inserted correctly and if a power supply is needed for the card check this

3)when you boot up,if the option screen you mentiom is called"vista boot manager, then choose xp64 and press enter

4)this will load up your windows xp operating system(pressing vista would of loaded "windows vista)

when you reach the desktop your nvidia graphics card will be recognized as a new device, ignore and cancel any prompts

go to http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/dr... download the display(graphics)drivers applicable to your graphics card, and once downloaded go to the file(this will be called"nvidia forceware drivers" and click the icon to initialize set up

if you receive any messages about "driver signing" press"continue anyway",then once the driver have loaded press "restart now"

upon restart your display can be configured, right click the desktop and select "nvidia control panel" or you can also right click desktop and select properties, then select the settings tab, then change your resolution there, for a 17" monitor the default resolution is 1024x768,for 19" monitors its 1280x1024

note:dont use the driver disks supplied, there normally out of date, sometimes by years, and also it looks like your p.c was booting from a cd

any problems let me know

good luck mate!
